Reporting to the Director, Finance, Digital, the Sr. Analyst, Retail Technology / Digital Finance will assist in the overall financial support of our Retail Technology Digital and Digital Agronomy teams (our Retail Tech business partners) to provide financial analytics and support. This role supports the development and evaluation of capital budgets for our Retail Technology Digital and Agronomy initiatives as well as annual, quarterly, and monthly plans & forecasts. At Nutrien, we are continually striving to provide data driven financial analytics to inform business decisions and capital allocation.

What you will do:

• Assist with the preparation of capital and operating budgets, strategic plans, quarterly presentations, forecasts, and monthly business narratives
• Lead monthly financial close, working with our business partners and operational accounting departments as necessary
• Provide monthly analysis, commentaries, and financial packages for our Retail Tech business partners and the Finance department
• Manage quarterly capitalization review preparing supporting documentation for assets placed in service
• Provide accurate, timely, and reliable financial reports to Retail management
• Work directly with our financial and Retail Tech Digital and Agronomy business partners to identify opportunities to improve operating and financial performance
• Provide financial and business analysis to support key strategic goals and KPIs
• Knowledge share and lead financial training sessions with our business partners
• Keep abreast of current trends and practices in the industry and field of expertise
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you will bring:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution with a strong knowledge of accounting rules and requirements.
• Attainment of professional designation would be considered an asset (CPA or CFA)
• Six (6) or more years of relevant experience, with five (5) or more years of experience in Financial Analysis is preferred
• Demonstrated analytical skills are required
• Familiarity with Peoplesoft and/or SAP considered an asset
• Highly detail oriented
• Self-Motivated
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent integrity and business ethics
• Ability to lead by example and work well with others
