Reporting to the Manager, CEO Communications, the Senior Advisor & Project Lead, CEO Communications will support internal and external CEO Communications, as well as activities and campaigns within the broader Corporate Communications Team. This team member will play a key role in CEO thought leadership and other various communications initiatives that bring Nutrien\'s purpose to life. What you will do:

  • Project management lead for all CEO communications programming including tracking workbacks for initiatives, maintaining key messaging database, and measurement and reporting materials
  • Support all CEO communications activities, including drafting briefs, memos, video scripts and speaking notes for a variety of engagements and events
  • Support media relations activities for the office of the CEO as required, including developing media lists, media briefs, media training, and media pitches
  • Partner with the broader Brand & Culture Communications team and Corporate business functions to develop integrated proactive communications campaigns that support our global narrative and strategic plan
  • Support in developing, executing, and measuring thought leadership initiatives for Nutrien\'s CEO
  • Find and develop stories across our business that will resonate with key internal and external audiences
  • Work with Brand & Culture Communications team to implement strategic social media and digital communications
  • Assist in the planning and/or communications of CEO-related events, both internal and external (such as Global Webcasts and external speaking opportunities), developing materials as required
  • Provide on-site support for executive communications-related activity (filming, photography, media tours)
What you will bring:
  • 6+ years of experience in communications, preferably for a global, publicly traded company
  • Strong project management and campaign planning expertise
  • Excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards
  • Proven expertise in executing communications with excellence
  • Superior writing skills, particularly in speech writing and executive brief development
  • Strong knowledge of internal communications and external media channels and platforms with proven planning and implementation
  • Understanding of communications best practices, planning, and execution
  • Insights-driven decision-making is a core strength to guide your approach
  • Excellent curiosity, learning capacity, and independent decision-making ability
  • Strong social media acumen and up-to-date on emerging trends
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with the ability to adjust to shifting priorities
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field such as Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university
