Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Procurement Systems & Governance, Source to Contract and Supplier Lifecycle Performance, the Senior Advisor, will be responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing sustainment of Supplier Onboarding and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP).

What you will do:

• Informal leadership of the Supplier Onboarding Team that is responsible for all activities associated with the digital onboarding and data enrichment of supplier in the Ariba platform
• Process the onboarding of supplier to the Nutrien database as well as ensuring that supplier have been properly segmented and evaluated for risk to the organization
• Work closely with the technical and functional resources to ensure that suppliers can efficiently enter their information into the Ariba Supplier Portal
• Work with business stakeholder on the requirements to complete supplier data and ensure accuracy to enable downstream Ariba procure to pay process
• Work with the Ariba Downstream team to support and execute the enablement of suppliers on the Ariba Network
• Assist the Sr. Manager Procurement Systems, Source to Contract & SLP in developing & monitoring metrics that measure adoption and value of procurement technology investments
• Assist the Sr. Manager Procurement Systems, Source to Contract & SLP in identifying improved efficiency opportunities, and working with IT to develop and implement said improvements
• Assist the Sr. Manager Procurement Systems, Source to Contract & SLP in executing department goals and projects/initiatives
• Perform additional tasks as assigned and defined by the Sr. Manager Procurement Systems, Source to Contract & SLP
• Support and lead the implementation & sustainment of Ariba Supplier Risk module as part of SLP. Work with project stakeholders on identifying risk requirements and monitoring and reporting risk as identified by stakeholders\' groups
• Support the continued implementation and administration of procurement purchasing programs/systems, including SAP Ariba, Oracle, and SAP ECC (ERP), and SAP S4 Hana, and SAP MDG with a focus on the supplier onboarding, supplier risk and SLP modules of SAP Ariba
• Coordinate and care for improvement activities of SAP Ariba which will allow for improved efficiency in the current supplier registration, supplier risk evaluation, supplier performance administration, process at Nutrien
• Lead regular updates on enhancement communication and implementation in Ariba SLP and Ariba Risk through a network of BU site champions
• Assist the Procurement Systems Governance department in continued training and support of procurement end-users on new features and enhancements in SAP Ariba and other technology that may be implemented
• Function as an advocate for Procurement interests, working to drive the best outcomes for Nutrien

What you will bring:

• Technical Diploma or bachelor\'s degree required, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Supply Chain Management preferred
• Clear and solid understanding of, and practical experience with, enterprise asset management (maintenance, procurement, inventory management), spend management (e.g., Ariba, Analysis & Reports) and enterprise resource planning systems and tools (SAP/Oracle)
• Clear and solid understanding of Supplier Portal and Master Data tools, systems, and processes and how they are integrated with all systems (SAP/Oracle/MDG)
• Certifications in SAP Ariba preferred
• 6+ years related experience
• Broad experience in supply chain, procurement, category strategy, and supplier management processes
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - able to sort through considerable data and information, comfortable with analytical thinking. Experience with Procurement Analytics and relevant KPIs
• Execute on the Supplier Lifecycle Performance strategy as set by leadership, with the ability to execute based on leadership vision on each initiative
• Ability to establish relationships, and interact productively, among various internal stakeholders
• Strong communication skills
• Able to establish relationships, and interact productively, among various internal stakeholder\'s departments, and employee groups (corporate and site management, other site personnel, Supplier Data Management team etc.)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and other MS Office applications
• High degree of ethics, discretion, honesty, fairness, and sound business practices to secure and maintain Nutrien\'s reputation in the market
• Travel as needed (at times internationally). Travel at times may exceed ~20%
