As a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our manufacturing processes and driving innovation within the aerospace sector. Your expertise will help shape the future of our manufacturing operations, ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.




You will report directly to our Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineer and you'll work out of our Mississauga, ON location.




In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, leading initiatives that enhance productivity, improve product quality, and drive customer satisfaction. Your strategic insights and leadership will contribute to our competitive advantage in the aerospace industry.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide strategic insights and direction for advanced manufacturing engineering initiatives. Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and operational excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are producible and meet yield and cost targets Determine manufacturing processes, procure and set up equipment, develop work instructions Use DFx tools to analyze design and influence design improvements Apply APQP & Lean tools and incorporate new manufacturing processes into the design, such as automation and alternate manufacturing techniques Mentor and coach junior level engineers Support production teams with identification/resolution of new product line issues Perform/Lead Root Cause Corrective Analysis and drive corrective actions to closure

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, Computer Systems, Mechanical) Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization.

Minimum 5 years' experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry and/or Electronics manufacturing. Experience in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes. Experience in the use of Lean tools Experience with design and development processes Ability to think strategically and drive change in a dynamic environment Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence in manufacturing operations. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Basic knowledge of the field's standards and specifications Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams Strong communication skills Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done.
