Escalate your career and expand your knowledge by working with this ever-growing company. We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant on behalf of our client in the SAAS industry. This role is ideal for individuals who are ready to take their careers one step further in the FP& A world and take part in an upcoming large ERP transformation project. This is an interim contract role and offers the flexibility of 100% remote work.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, your responsibilities in this role include:

- Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

- Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

- Other projects as required

- Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

- Take part in various department-wide initiatives

- Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

- Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated accountant (CPA or equivalent), with at least 5+ years of full-cycle accounting and financial analytic experience, and year-end responsibilities. You are comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with various team members across the company.

- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired

- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Efficient in ERP systems

- Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

- Highly organized and self-motivated

- Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates

- SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

- 5+ years of overall general accounting experience

- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports

- Adeptness in financial analysis

- Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud

- CRM experience

- SaaS experience

- Analysis experience

- SAP experience
