Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accountant for a great long-term contract opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. - Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Put together monthly consolidated P- Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
- An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
- Complete other projects as required
- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
- Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners

- 3-5+ years of overall general Accounting experience
- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred (or working towards)
- Ability to work well with functional department managers
- Experience with ERP systems; preference for Xero
- Proven knowledge of Year-end Audits and Reporting
- General familiarity with Year-end Financial Statements
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
- Strong time management and organizational skills
