POSITION OVERVIEW
As a key member of the finance team, the Senior Accountant will play a leadership role in managing the company's financial operations. This position requires advanced full-cycle accounting experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making. The Senior Accountant will oversee complex reconciliations, mentor accounting staff, lead process improvements, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
Oversee general ledger maintenance, complex reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing recommendations to management based on financial analysis
Support strategic initiatives by preparing financial models and variance analyses
Manage tax filings, audits, and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
Drive process improvements and implement best practices in accounting and financial reporting
Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to accounting staff
Monitor and control expenses, review reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of accounts payable/receivable functions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business growth
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA designation (or in final stages of completion) strongly preferred
5+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity
Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with ERP/accounting systems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations
Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
HOURS OF WORK
Regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
