Job Description

This role handles essential tasks, such as financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact

- Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

- Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

- When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests

- Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Deep understanding of Activity Based Costing (ABC)

- Knowledge of Annual Audited Financial Statements

- Solid understanding of Analyze Financial Statements

- Foundational knowledge in Activity Based Costing

- Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

- Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

- Current and relevant ERP system experience

- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

- Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
