Financial Analyst - Remote

Progressive opportunity for analytical and technical financial analyst. There is an opening for a Financial Analyst at a fast-growing, dynamic team via Robert Half -the Financial Analyst will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Located in the Toronto, Ontario, area, this Financial Analyst role is a long-term contract with potential for permanent placement.

We are seeking Financial Analyst candidates who are comfortable with conducting financial modeling on various financial products, preparing financial reports, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. Your duties will also include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management.

Major responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Preparing monthly operating statements, variance analysis, capital budget

variances and other financial reports.

\xc2\xb7 Assist in preparing reports and documents for the Finance & Audit Committee,

including the Board, other Board Committees, AGM and annual report as

required.

\xc2\xb7 Advise in monitoring, analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of programs

and operations and recommending corrective actions. Provides advice directly to

departments or may present recommendations to Director, Finance for highly

complex situations.

\xc2\xb7 Working with program directors to analyze cost effectiveness and return on

investment of fundraising initiatives.

\xc2\xb7 Designing and producing other reports as required.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinating and consolidating the operating budget and forecast submissions

from departments. Includes distributing budget and forecast worksheets to

directors, reviewing submitted worksheets for completeness and ensuring no

duplication of budget amounts with other departments. Presents draft

- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended

- Blackbaud Raiser\'s Edge NXT experience

- Strong familiarity with Microsoft SQL

- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience favored)

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
