Job Description
Robert Half is partnered with a growing organization who is looking to hire a Sr. Accountant to their team. This is a full time permanent position located in the Markham area that offers a hybrid working arrangement. As the Sr. Accountant, you will be reporting to the Controller and responsible for full cycle accounting for multiple entities operating across Canada. - Review and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Preparation and posting of journal entries
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Perform monthly P& L variance analysis
- Support the Controller with Year End audit functions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years' full cycle accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and team oriented
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of pivot table, vlookups etc.
- In progress of CPA designation highly preferred
