Robert Half currently has a long-term contract / temporary opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic, innovative team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact

- Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts

- Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

- Other projects as necessary

- Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

- Be a part of various department-wide initiatives

- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

- Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

- Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

- Candidates that are proficient in financial reporting may be most suitable for this opportunity

- Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

- SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

- Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

- BA/BS in Accounting

- A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers

- Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions

- Foundational knowledge in Review Financial Statements

- Well-founded grasp of account reconciliation

- Command of Financial Statement

- Proven knowledge of month end closings

- Quality experience with journal entries

- Analyze Financial Statements experience

- Practical knowledge of financial reconciliation

- Prepare Financial Statements experience

- General familiarity with bank reconciliations

- Experience with financial reporting

- Wide ranging experience with financial analysis

- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

- Strong time management and organizational skills

- ERP system experience

- Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
