The work:

Accenture s Cloud First Infrastructure Engineering professionals partner with our clients to advise, create, and deploy end-to-end infrastructure transformation solutions, enabling business innovation. These solutions are the backbone of driving IT-enabled differentiation. IE professionals are grounded in New-IT with an expertise in one or more of our core practice areas: Digital Workplace, Network Technology, Service Management, Hybrid Cloud, Public Cloud, and traditional Data Center.

Key Responsibilities:

You will create, configure and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases on premises and azure cloud.

You will perform related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including day to day support, backup/recovery and performance tuning.

You will install database management systems (DBMS) and work with application teams to configure the application and document the frequently performed tasks.

Deployment of database changes to production following change controls.

You will manage user access to databases related to various applications

You will contact end user to scope the requests, troubleshoot errors and follow up

You will work with the team on disaster recovery operations

You will collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve tickets.

Qualifications

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

At least 3 years of rich experience with production support of Microsoft SQL Server database

On-call rotation expected

Hands-on experience with Ticketing Systems like Service Now, JIRA or equivalent (as user)

Proven experience in client facing roles with ability to work creatively in a problem-solving environment

Exceptional customer service skills

Eligibility for Security Clearance (at least 5 years residency in Canada)

Professional Skills Qualifications:

Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Desire to work in an information systems environment.

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in professional setting; either military or civilian.
