Mariner Innovations is seeking an experienced SQL Developer (contract opportunity) to join our professional services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions that enable seamless data flow and synchronization between various systems and databases. The SQL Developer will also need to deeply understand the customer environment, including the technical infrastructure, business and operations processes, key business challenges and priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data integration solutions.
• Develop efficient and scalable ETL processes and workflows to facilitate data movement between systems.
• Create and implement database maintenance strategies including monitoring and tuning of SQL databases.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration across multiple systems.
• Data Integration with third-party systems and APIs using SQL and other integration technologies.
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting.
• Upgrade outdated SQL environments to supported versions.
• Collaborate with other team members, vendors, and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and ensure successful implementation.
• Provide SQL assistance/support for departmental projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL Developer role.
• Proficiency in ETL tools and data integration technologies (e.g., SSIS, Informatica).
• Proven SQL Server Database Administration experience (Backup, User access, Management).
• Practical experience in managing the internal and external SQL Server database security.
• Proven experience working in a consultant role, including presenting complex technical concepts at an appropriate level for a wide range of audiences (technical, management, and executive).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.
