Duties and Responsibilities

Database Maintenance

: Perform backups, recovery, and routine maintenance tasks, patching, primarily within MS SQL.

Performance Optimization

: Monitor and improve database performance and query efficiency.

Report design and creation

: Work with multiple departments and teams to design and create reports within Epicor P21 system using C# and DynaChange interface.

Assist with creation and layout of ERP windows:

Work with multiple departments and teams to design and change layouts within Epicor P21 system using C# and DynaChange interface.

Assist with data migration and cleanup

: Work with multiple departments and teams to clean and migrate existing data to new Epicor P21 system.

Assist with maintenance and updates for PowerBI:

Work with multiple departments and teams to maintain and update the existing PowerBI dashboards.

Assist with creation of new PowerBI dashboards:

Work with multiple departments and teams to create PowerBI dashboards.

Security Management

: Implement and maintain database security, including user roles and encryption.

Troubleshooting

: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues and assist in other areas where required.

Support and Collaboration

: Work with Epicor P21 teams to optimize database operations.

Disaster Recovery

: Develop and test recovery plans to ensure data integrity.

Capacity Planning

: Plan for future database growth and resource requirements.

Documentation

: Maintain records of configurations, policies, and procedures.

Identify and recommend

technology efficiencies for all aspects.

Assist with AI:

Work with team to identify, secure, and test different AI solutions. Keeping data protection as primary focus.

Liaison with 3

rd

party vendors/partners

to work through operational and/or project work.

Provide Tier 3 support

for end users.

Provide vacation coverage

for team members.

Assist

with general IT support as required.

Assist team with additional duties as required.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Preference for IT-related Post Secondary Education Experience with and understanding of Microsoft SQL Databases Experience with C# Programming Previous experience with Epicor Prophet 21 is

preferred
