Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of Wet, Dry and Pre-Action Sprinkler and Fire Pump systems. This position requires a strong understanding of fire protection systems and their functionality.
Duties
Conduct inspection, testing and maintenance of existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure functionality and compliance with NFPA 25 Standards. Perform repairs on malfunctioning systems, including troubleshooting issues and replacing defective components. Perform annual cross connections testing and repair. Complete after-hours service calls.
Skills
Inspection Procedure: Ability to conduct thorough inspections of sprinkler systems, fire pumps and standpipes. Fire Code Knowledge: NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations. Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication with clients and team members Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work Computer Skills: Use of software for inspection reports and compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
