to join our dedicated fire protection team working on
new construction projects
in Calgary and the surrounding area. This role involves the
layout, fabrication, and installation
of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial construction sites.
You'll be part of a skilled crew delivering high-quality installations with a focus on code compliance, job site safety, and efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Install and assemble fire sprinkler systems on new construction job sites
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job layouts
Measure, cut, thread, and join pipe using appropriate tools and techniques
Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades
Maintain safe and organized work areas
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and code requirements
Assist or lead tasks depending on experience level (Apprentice vs. Journeyman)
Requirements:
Registered
Apprentice (1st to 4th year)
or
Certified Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter
Experience working on
new construction projects
(required for Journeyman)
Familiarity with NFPA standards and local fire codes (Journeyman)
Ability to read construction drawings and perform accurate layouts
Physically able to work in active construction environments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
