Hamilton Fire Control Company is a leader in Fire Protection services and has been established in the Hamilton and surrounding area since 1954. Today, Hamilton Fire Control is involved in the design, fabrication and installation of fire sprinkler, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. Our team consists of over 35 individuals located in Hamilton, Ontario. The company has grown from the original fledging concept to its current state of an exciting, dynamic, growing operation founded on the values of accountability, integrity and respect towards our customers, suppliers and employees.

We are looking to add an experienced Full-Time Unionized Sprinkler Fitter. Requirements are as follows;

Rate: Union Wage

Responsibilities:

Complete annual, monthly, quarterly, weekly inspections testing on sprinklers Able to service wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps Able to lead many of our larger long-term inspections Clean, repair maintain and update Sprinkler systems as required Perform small retrofit Perform field repairs when required
Ideal candidate:

UA Local 853 Must have service experience Must be a fully licensed Sprinkler Fitter Must have strong customer relationship skills, an excellent command of English, both written and spoken Must hold a valid G Class driver's license Access to a vehicle Good driver's abstract Able to work independently and in a team environment Able to interpret drawings and specifications Able to work on-call, rotating shifts and overtime as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.24-$47.56 per hour

Work Location: On the road
