Thus, through our enriching internship program, we help develop the next-generation of engineers and technologists. As an Electronics Software Development and Testing Intern, you will help develop our industry-leading simulation software while gaining real experience in your field of study. You will work on a variety of impactful projects to help maintain, advance, and accelerate Ansys products. In this internship, you will support our Electronics Business Unit. This is a 40-hour per week paid position for Spring 2023, beginning in January 2023 and concluding April 2023. This is a fully remote opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advance software robustness by testing and verifying defect fixes.
- Conduct interactive and automated testing of user interfaces and simulation results.
- Build tools that automate software development/testing infrastructure processes.
- Learn and employ best software practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a MS or PhD degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, numerical methods, circuit simulation, device modeling or related technical degree
- Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship program.
- Experience in with C/C++, Python or Java.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Finite Volume Method, or mesh generation.
- Knowledge of scripting and shells like python, csh, bash.
- Prior experience of using ANSYS products or other engineering software is a plus.
