Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting and a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to ensure their vision is realized. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and restoring areas as needed.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Restore surfaces by repairing drywall or woodwork as needed.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
• Rig materials and equipment for safe handling during projects.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects.

Skills

• Spraying machines, products, and work areas with a protective paint using a spray gun.
• Proficient in residential painting techniques and materials.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in restoration work is a plus.
• Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe material handling.
• Competence in using power tools and hand tools relevant to painting tasks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Pay: $17.37-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
