We're looking for a Door Painter & Prep Technician to join our workshop team. The role involves prepping, priming, and painting doors using spray or roll techniques. The ideal candidate has a good eye for detail, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

Prep, sand, and clean steel, wood, fiberglass, and fire-rated doors before painting Apply primers and paints using spray guns, rollers, or brushes Inspect finished doors to ensure smooth, even coverage Safely move and handle doors throughout the painting and drying process Maintain tools, spray equipment, and a clean, organized workspace Follow all safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment

Qualifications

Experience in painting or prepping doors, metal, or wood surfaces preferred (training available) Detail-oriented and reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working in a workshop environment and handling physical tasks Valid driver's license an asset

Compensation

Starting at $25/hour (based on experience)

Part-time position with potential for growth within Anvil Textures
