Position Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Sports Performance Interns. This hands-on opportunity will allow interns to gain valuable experience in athletic performance training, sports science, and coaching. Interns will work closely with our professional staff to support training sessions, assessments, and day-to-day facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist performance coaches with training sessions, including setting up and breaking down equipment. Observe and support athletes during workouts, providing supervised guidance and feedback. Aid in recording and reviewing performance assessment data (e.g., jump tests, agility drills). Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, timesheets, and weekly progress reports. Engage in weekly mentor check-ins and reflection exercises to track learning objectives. Follow safety protocols, confidentiality policies, and facility guidelines. Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and strong communication skills throughout the internship.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or a related field. Passion for sports performance, coaching, and athlete development. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and communication skills. CPR/AED certification (preferred but not required). Able to commit from Jan 2026 - Jun 2026.
