Duties

Design and deliver engaging physical education lessons that strengthen mobility, coordination, and overall wellness Introduce students to a variety of sports from different cultures and traditions Teach and model respect, empathy, cooperation, and responsibility through sports and games Integrate sports with broader themes, such as health education, cultural awareness, and community engagement Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children, regardless of ability Communicate regularly with families about students' progress and interests

Skills

Degree, certification or experience in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience teaching elementary-aged children Passion for sports and holistic child development Ability to connect sports to values-based learning and interdisciplinary projects Creativity, energy, and excellent classroom management skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$21.22 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 6 per week
