About the Role

The

Sports Complex Operator

is a member of a Team that is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the Town of High Level's sports facilities and playgrounds. Yes, this includes running the Zamboni - how fun will that be? Come join our team of professionals and make a lasting contribution to our community playing a key role in supporting the delivery of recreation programming and providing exceptional experiences.

As the Sports Complex Operator you will

Maintain and monitor the ice surfaces for outdoor and indoor rinks

Operate the ice resurfacer, snow blower, and ice edger for cleaning and maintenance of ice surfaces

Assist and maintain the ice plant for the arena and curling rink

Ensure safety and compliance with industry standards

Assist user groups to schedule facilities for events

Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our Sports Facilities and Parks

What We Offer

Wage:

$24.43 - $40.38/hour (40 hours per week and depending upon qualifications)

Qualifications & Experience

We're looking for an enthusiastic team member with

Experience in recreation

Arena Operations Level I and II preferred or willing to obtain

Parks Operations Level I and II preferred or willing to obtain

Standard First Aid and CPR "C" with AED

Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
