- SPLIT SHIFT SCHOOL AGE POSITION

6:45-8:45 am + 3:00-6:00pm Mon-Fri - 5 hrs a day, 25 hrs a week
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. You will engage with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their growth and learning.

Duties

Supervise and ensure the safety of children during playtime and activities. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood learning. Provide caregiving support to children, including assistance with meals, hygiene, and daily routines. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the needs of all children, including those with disabilities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space.

Experience

Previous experience in early childhood education or caregiving is preferred. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and child development principles. Experience working with children of varying ages and abilities, including those with disabilities. A background in educating young children is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $17.64-$19.19 per hour
