Speech-Language Pathology Faculty PositionsThe School of Rehabilitation Science currently offers a Master of Physical Therapy program and is expanding to include Master of Speech-Language Pathology and Master of Occupational Therapy programs. This expansion is part of the Government of Saskatchewan's Health Human Resources Action Plan, focused on creating opportunities for students to train for careers in these professions in Saskatchewan.The programs will be housed jointly within the School of Rehabilitation Science with intentional opportunities for inter-professional education. Our School aims to foster collaboration and innovation among students and faculty from diverse disciplines, enhancing the educational experience and preparing future leaders in the rehabilitation sciences.Applications are invited from qualified individuals for four (4) full-time tenure track positions at Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank with the School of Rehabilitation Science, College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.This is a unique and exciting opportunity to have a significant impact in developing curriculum and teaching within the inaugural Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program, launching in fall 2026. The successful applicant will also supervise MSc and PhD graduate students, initiate, lead, and participate in research activities, compete successfully for external funding to support their research program, and undertake relevant administrative activities including meetings and committee work. A range of research supports, including start up finding and protected time for development of a research program will be provided.The School's mission is excellence in rehabilitation science teaching, research, scholarship, and leadership to improve the quality of life and well-being for all people of Saskatchewan and beyond. Our School has an active research program across a broad range of initiatives, collaborating with several local, provincial, and national research groups. The University has a reputation for excellence in teaching, research, and scholarly activities and offers a full spectrum of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs to a student population of over 26,000.QualificationsThe successful candidate must have successfully completed an entry to practice speech-language pathology program (Master's level or equivalent), hold or be nearing completion of a PhD or equivalent Doctoral degree, and have at least two years of clinical practice experience. Post-doctoral research experience is an asset. Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK) and eligible for membership with SpeechLanguage & Audiology Canada (SAC).The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology or audiology, a passion for education and a commitment to advancing the profession. We are seeking candidates with an interest in engaging in scholarly activities across a broad spectrum of practice areas.The current salary band for an Assistant Professor position is $107,323 to $128,131, Associate Professor position is $128,131 to $148,939 and Full Professor is $148,939 to $173,215.
