to provide assessment and intervention services to children at our clinic in Timmins, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
Provide treatment to pediatric clients who present with a broad range of communication difficulties
Ability to work as part of a team (will be working with other regulated health professionals closely)
Will maintain up-to-date records on all communication with clients
Perform assessments and conduct therapy
Creatively problem-solve to provide treatment programs catered to individual clients and settings
Must be flexible
Must appreciate and use a client and family-centred approach
May be required to do presentations to small groups
Qualifications
Registered speech-language pathologist in good standing with CASLPO
Comfortable with technology
Hanen certification is a strong asset
Driver's license is a strong asset
Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
Experience working with clients with cultural differences would be an asset. (Cultural safety training will be provided)
Experience working with neurodiverse children is an asset
Telepractice experience is an asset
