Wage Schedule I P1 (formerly Grid Level 12) as per Health Sciences Professionals Bargaining Association collective agreement. Wage range $42.27 to $52.81.

The Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre is currently seeking a permanent full- time 1 FTE (37.5 hr/week) Speech-Language Pathologist for our Early Intervention Team. We are a community-based agency providing early intervention services to children and families in the communities of Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and Katzie. Our SLPs work as part of an interdisciplinary team, following a community based, family-centered model. We provide assessment, individual and group therapy, and consultation to preschool-aged children in our region, working collaboratively with other RMCDC-based therapists as well as various community agencies. We provide service in a variety of environments, including family homes, preschools/daycares, and the Centre itself. For more information visit our website at www.rmcdc.com.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active (full) registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC Experience working with young children with a variety of disabilities and their families Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team Ability to form and maintain positive working relationships with families, colleagues and community partners Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license and vehicle Hanen training an asset Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Practice and cultural safety practices an asset
