Kidsmith Speech and Language Services is a boutique private practice that works with children from birth through to school age on a variety of communication skills. We offer a variety of session formats in our clinic, including 1-to-1, small groups, baby groups, summer camps and local in-school/daycare services as needed.
We started with our first clinic in the heart of Bloor West Village (West-End Toronto) and have now expanded to a new location in Etobicoke (195 Norseman St). We are looking for an additional SLP to practice in our new space, starting early 2026.
We are seeking an experienced (4+ years) SLP who upholds family-centric care and multi-disciplinary collaboration at the core of their clinical approach to join our growing team.
Flexible starting part-time commitment for the ideal candidate, from as little as 1, up to 5+ days a week, but preference will be given to candidates looking for full-time (or close to full-time).
All materials, equipment, administrative tools and professional support will be provided to allow you to focus on what you enjoy most. Come see our storage room full of interactive toys! We are also in the process of designing and building out our very own sensory gym!
Collaboration is at the core of what we do for optimal client-therapy delivery. You will have the support and opportunity to collaborate with the experienced Kidsmith team (from both locations) along with our community/industry partners. We formally meet as a group to discuss client treatment every week. Informal discussions and ideas are shared continously.
As a Speech Language Pathologist, the successful candidate will:
Conduct speech, language and literacy screening and/or formal assessments for toddler, pre-school, and school aged population
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Collaborate with the Kidsmith team and our community/industry partners
Maintain records using our electronic charting system (Jane), in accordance with CASLPO regulations
Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrate excellent initiative and time management skills
Interest or experience in Literacy and Autism is an asset
Our new clinic is located near and easily accessible from several major roadways with ample free parking right at our front door.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions before submitting your application.
We are excited to share our ideas with you and hear yours!
