Duties



Conduct thorough assessments of speech and language abilities in children Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and family and child's needs. Provide direct therapy services to patients, focusing on improving communication skills and swallowing functions (if you have additional training, that would be amazing!). Monitor kids' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate families about speech and language disorders and the therapeutic process. Collaborate with occupational therapists and other clinicians to coordinate family care and case management. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications



Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current provincial registration with Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA), in good standing Experience in pediatrics is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with families, and interdisciplinary teams. Proven ability to manage cases effectively while providing compassionate care. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in practice.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $80.00-$110.00 per hour
