Speak squad is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care setting, demonstrating a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess speech and language disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and enhance overall patient outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team: Occupational Therapists,ABA therapists and Psychotherapists .
Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and provide strategies for effective communication.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with medical standards.
Stay updated on advancements in speech therapy practices and medical terminology relevant to the field.
Skills
Strong knowledge of case management principles and practices related to speech therapy.
Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and effective communication.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
