Position Overview
We are seeking a
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join our dynamic and supportive clinical team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping both children and adults improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic skills. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to practice within a collaborative and innovative healthcare environment.
As an SLP at Stockton Health Group, you will have access to established referral streams, administrative support, and a modern clinic space equipped to support both in-person and virtual sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments for pediatric and/or adult populations.
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Collaborate with other allied health professionals to provide coordinated and integrated patient care.
Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes in accordance with professional and clinic standards.
Provide education, resources, and home programming to clients and families.
Offer community education, workshops, or group programming as appropriate.
Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
Current registration with the
New Brunswick Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NBASLPA)
.
Professional liability insurance in accordance with NBASLPA requirements.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary setting is an asset.
