Step Up Academy of Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, particularly in working with pediatric populations. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to develop effective treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.
Provide early intervention services to support children with developmental delays.
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support students in school settings.
Educate families about communication disorders and provide strategies for support at home.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and relevant medical terminology.
Experience
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Experience working in school settings or with pediatric patients is preferred.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language development.
Familiarity with medical terminology and patient assessment techniques.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and team members.
