We bring together physiotherapy, chiropractic, kinesiology, psychotherapy, nutrition, and other allied health disciplines under one roof to deliver a holistic approach to movement, recovery, and wellness.
We are expanding our team to include a
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
who is passionate about improving communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life for patients of all ages.
Role Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat communication, speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will work collaboratively with other CORSA Health practitioners to create integrated treatment plans, ensuring that patients benefit from a full spectrum of wellness and rehabilitative care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based best practices.
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, using both in-person and telehealth modalities where appropriate.
Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, and other CORSA Health professionals to deliver interdisciplinary care.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing function.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within CORSA Health's EMR system (JaneApp).
Stay current with professional development, research, and continuing education requirements.
Contribute to CORSA Health's commitment to innovation and patient experience by participating in wellness workshops, content creation, or educational events when applicable.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Current registration and good standing with the
College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
.
Experience working with pediatric, adult, and/or geriatric populations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient engagement skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (experience with JaneApp an asset).
