We value an independent and flexible Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) while providing a dedicated support and training system. Assessment and Treatment Materials: Extensive selection of formal and informal assessment tools, treatment materials, and online resources to enhance therapy sessions. Online Subscriptions: Including continuing education and online materials Electronic Medical Record System: Access our EMR system (Jane) for all documentation, scheduling and billing needs. Mentorship: We offer mentorship with a senior SLP who is registered in both Prince Edward Island and Ontario, if required by your college of professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess, develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice for paediatric and adult patient populations. Assess and treat clients in both virtual and in-home settings. Provide client and family centred intervention by building strong rapport with caregivers, with ongoing training and education Monitor client progress towards goal attainment and have the agility to adjust treatment plans according to changing needs Partner with our client's family members, caregivers and other health care professionals regarding care goals and service plans. Manage own caseload and maintain complete records of therapy using our electronic charting system, in accordance with CASLPPEI regulations

Qualifications:

Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent. Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Prince Edward Island. Proof of Professional Liability Insurance Must have a valid driver's license and the use of a reliable vehicle Bilingual or Multi-lingual language skills are an asset Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
