ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are an established Manufacturers' Representative Agency serving Atlantic Canada for over 45 years. We represent premium global brands in Division 22 (Plumbing/Mechanical) and Division 11 (Equipment/Specialties).
Due to significant business growth, we are adding a Specification & Project Coordinator to support our operations team. This role will coordinate product specifications and relationships with architects, engineers, and wholesaler partners across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Specification Development
- Monitor construction tender opportunities and identify projects for our product lines
- Work with architects and engineers to develop product specifications - Track projects from specification stage through purchase order Wholesaler Coordination
- Serve as primary contact for regional wholesaler partners on quotes and technical questions
- Schedule and facilitate virtual product presentations and training sessions
- Maintain communication with distribution partners across Atlantic Canada
Project Management
- Organize and track specification opportunities by territory
- Maintain project pipeline and reporting systems

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience:
- Background in construction, plumbing/mechanical wholesale, architectural sales, or related project coordination
- Understanding of specification processes and construction bid workflows - Familiarity with Division 22/11 products preferred but not required
Skills:
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills for customer and vendor interactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms
- Comfortable navigating digital bid platforms (CANS, BIDS, etc.)
Practical Requirements:
- Reliable vehicle and clean driving record (occasional local travel, primarily office-based in Dartmouth area)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
Compensation: $25/hour to start with performance review after 90-day trial
Hours: 20-25 hours per week (flexible scheduling within business hours)
Location: Office-based in Dartmouth with occasional local travel
Start Date: Immediate opening for qualified candidate
Employment Type: Permanent part-time employee (CPP, EI, income tax deductions)
