We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our dynamic, forward-thinking Association and Affinity Business Senior Underwriter/Underwriter, Specialty Lines in our Toronto or Ottawa office.



Senior Underwriter/Underwriter (Specialty Lines), Association and Affinity Business - Toronto/Ottawa



The successful applicant will be passionate, and results oriented with the capability to build upon and foster relationships with new and existing broker clients. Specifically, the successful applicant will be responsible for both marketing and underwriting our suite of Association and Affinity programs and online products.

Accountabilities:

Managing a portfolio of miscellaneous Professional Liability/Errors and Omissions-based programs, across a wide range of classes of business and product lines. Maintaining and building broker relationships. Evaluating exposures and determining appropriate terms and conditions of coverage. Learning new product lines and coverages as they are developed. Maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant industry trends and their impact on products offered

Qualifications:

3-5 years' experience underwriting miscellaneous Professional Liability/E&O. Some exposure to Commercial General Liability is an asset. Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in communication, business, or insurance preferred. Bilingual in French and English an asset.
