supported by the Charlton Health pharmacy team in Hamilton.
We provide complete treatment of
biologic
and other
advanced therapeutic specialty medications
in friendly, safe environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to effectively support patient needs and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing patients' health status
Administer medications - advanced therapeutic treatments both through IV and SC as prescribed by autoimmune specialists.
Monitor patient responses and vital signs during procedures, ensuring immediate intervention if necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to a safe and clean environment for patients through adherence to infection control protocols.
Ensure ongoing professional development in Gastroenterology and Rheumatology advanced therapies to provide the highest level of patient and family support
Uphold ACLS and PALS certification standards and participate in ongoing professional development through CNO membership.
Experience
RN
with current registration & good standing with the
CNO
RNAO
member - insured
CPR (ACLS, PALS would be great!)
Acute Care Background is important; our nurses work independently with a specialist on call
Competent
with EMRs and
electronic charting;
we use
Accuro EMR
Confident and energetic
, you are also proficient with your time management
Excellence in Intravenous Therapy with children and elderly patients
Strong knowledge of patient care practices and nursing principles.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 - 44 per week
