Our range of products includes electronic controllers, touchscreen interfaces, sensors, air valvesand many other supporting products that ensure accurateand precise airflow control. Our controllers are highly configurable, allowing for optimization of room and fume hood control. Antec Controls has a diverse team of engineers which includes mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. Our team handles the development of air valves, as well as the electronic controls and firmware for a range of control products. In addition, we design web-based tools and custom software for controller configuration. The successful candidate will be expected to learn and create expertise within the role while remaining open to cross-training within our fast-growing business.

Specials Designer (Entry Level - Mechanical)

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Specials Designer who can solve problems efficiently and deliver excellent customer service.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

Working directly with sales representatives, contractors, technicians and owners on understanding client's needs. Design product solutions that meet special customer requirements. Provide special quotations, product submittals, and documents to support Antec Controls representatives. Prepare and coordinate manufacturing details and assist production as needed to ensure smooth delivery of special solutions. Expand standard product offering for common special requests through the product development process.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

B.S or Technology Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required A College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with an eye for detail. A high level of critical thinking and accountability Innovative, self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to take initiative. Aptitude and desire for customer service excellence. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables. Proficiency in 3D CAD software and MS Office applications. A basic understanding of HVAC, controls and mechanical systems would be an asset. Aptitude with hand tools would be considered an asset.
