Are you an expert multitasker with the ability to navigate multiple systems? Do you have deep product knowledge with a passion for helping others resolve issues and explore available insurance products? The Specialized Insurance Service Representative is at the heart of Travelers of Canada\'s Personal Insurance. By handling a high volume of inbound calls from customers and brokers for questions about complex policies and billing for existing lines and products, you will set the tone for how our Customer Service is experienced. You will provide assurance to customers and brokers that they can depend on Travelers during life\'s rainy days. • Assess individual customer and broker situations to provide guidance on eligibility, policy coverage, and other options.
• Review and resolve policy cancellations, reinstatements, and service-related complaints.
• Act as an expert for multiple online billing systems and brokerage portal websites to provide proactive broker and customer support.
• De-escalate customer and broker concerns to resolve conflicts and build a deeper level of trust.
• Use sound judgement and product knowledge when identifying new business opportunities.
• Utilize thorough product, sales/customer service knowledge to counsel and sell available insurance products to Travelers employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree.
• Other Than Life (OTL) license preferred in resident province and in the province in which you will be conducting business.
• Solid knowledge of Personal Insurance products.
• Bi-lingual in English and French.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to actively listen and empathize.
• Ability to leverage math and analytical skills to assist with billing inquiries.
• Strong multitasking skills including the ability to apply typing skills and system navigation to proactively address customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and concerns.
• Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.

What is a Must Have?

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of customer service or call center experience.
