Job Description

Under the Parks and Recreation Department, the City of Cote Saint-Luc offers day camps for a period of 9 weeks during the summer. Under the supervision of the Assistant Coordinator and the Day Camp Coordinator, the Day Camp Specialist is responsible for introducing, implementing and organising blocks of sessions in their speciality with the camp groups. Specialists may vary in expertise (art, music, theatre, cooking, pottery, Sports, Dance).

Schedule

Part-time work from the first week of camp until the last week of camp.


Hours may vary between 8 and 35 hours per week, depending on needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, plan and implement daily activities and programmes in their speciality. Introduce campers to a high quality, fun and safe programme with the help of staff. Ensure that all necessary materials, equipment and locations are authorised and provided by the camp coordinator within a reasonable timeframe. To ensure that the quality of the programme is specialised in their area of expertise so as to provide all campers with a fun, safe and exciting experience.
