We can\xe2\x80\x99t wait to welcome you!The RoleThe Hotel Technology Client Support Team (HTCS) is dedicated to providing 24/7 real-time IT support to all Wyndham hotel brands, making over 400,000 contacts a year. This team primarily provides support for our property management systems as well as ensuring communication is active with the central reservation system.Technical Support Professionals are responsible for providing friendly and professional \xe2\x80\x9cCount on Me\xe2\x80\x9d service to our properties while assisting with project work. You will use your proven analytic and troubleshooting skills to find solutions to technology based problems and be responsible for working with our hotels through a number of different sources including phone, chat, and email. The Technical Support Professional will assist properties with revenue reporting and property management system accounting.What you\'ll do

  • Provide front line support for our hotels technology needs taking requests from our hotels through phone, chat, and email
  • Use your analytic and troubleshooting skills to find solutions to technology based problems; these requests will include but will not be limited to property management systems, windows based operating systems, user account management, and hardware support
You\'ll be successful if you have
  • Experience with windows based PCs
  • Proficiency in Windows based operating systems, Microsoft Office, and internet explorer and other web browsers
  • Knowledge of computer networks, and TCP/IP standards
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, and network equipment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial knowledge
Required Qualifications/Experience
  • Two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working on or with computer hardware, computer software, and/or computer networks
  • One year post-secondary education in computer science, or two years\xe2\x80\x99 in another field is considered an asset
  • One year experience in a customer service position
  • Experience in the hospitality field is an asset
