The Role






Cameco's supply chain management (SCM) department is looking for a seasoned professional to provide leadership and best practice in analytics and master data. In this role you will lead SCM functional areas in improvement initiatives related to digitalization through change management activities ensuring that changes are successfully executed, communicated and integrated with existing processes. This role will also partake in industry benchmarking to promote continual improvement and innovation within SCM to meet Cameco's strategic corporate objectives.




In this role, you will:





Ensuring compliance of the supply chain with regulations by defining and maintaining governance frameworks, defining processes and controls Analytics, including departmental key performance indicator reporting, annual reporting, as well as ad hoc reporting requirements, including infographics and/or dashboard utilization Taking ownership of supply chain tools and their development and continuous improvement Managing projects as required and ensuring proper communication, training and documentation is executed Supporting the strategic sourcing group and procurement specialists in understanding and applying the frameworks Leading and facilitating workshops and communicating with large groups Monitoring one or more functional groups within SCM's performance Working with functional areas to map processes and identify problem areas using Lean methodologies while identifying gaps in documentation Supporting risk management, vendor management and the corrective action process and quality management activities within SCM


Required:






A bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or in a related field Minimum of five years of supply chain experience Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered Certification in Lean green belt, Six Sigma black belt, SCMP, PMP, CPIM or Change Management Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
