With five mines, a mill, a smelter, a refinery and nearly 4,000 employees it is also one of the largest integrated mining complexes in the world.We invite you to be part of our evolution.The Opportunity:We are currently seeking a Specialist, Standardization + Cost Modelling.As a Specialist, Standardization + Cost Modelling , you will lead and influence financial and production decision making for our North Atlantic business and work to identify and action business improvement opportunities.In this position, you will serve as an integral member of the FP+A team where you will:

  • Develop, and oversee the financial analysis, monitoring and governance of our North American operations to make critical decisions affecting the profitability of the company
  • Develop consolidated budgets, financial modelling and reports that uphold rigor in the budgeting and modelling processes
  • Lead the alignment of consistent financial reporting systems across North American operations
  • Implement cost structure standardization across North American Operations
  • Work closely with operational areas and customers to deliver on cost-effective budgets and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the FP+A team as well and opertional leaders with budgeting and reporting responsibilities
  • Provide financial and technical expertise, advice and recommendations to improve the overall North American business
About You:Education:
  • Undergraduate degree with preference for degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or related field
  • Professional designation of P.Eng, MBA , or CPA preferred
Experience:
  • A minimum of 11 -15 years of professional experience
Skills:
  • Excellent understanding of ERP systems, database and spreadsheet applications
  • Good communication skills to manage diverse cultures and multiple levels of management
  • Expertise in developing and implementing system changes from an overall perspective
  • Collaboration and strong relationship building skills
  • Progressive relevant experience in Finance and Operations.
  • Standardization and routine management practices
  • Change management skills and experience
  • Leadership and influencing skills and experience
  • Ability to build momentum and positive energy for change
