Position Title:Specialist Shopper Marketing (1 year Contract) Requisition ID: 33121 Career Group (ADSP):Administrative Division: Qc - Marketing Metro (80069072) Department:Marketing and e-Commerce Work Location: METRO ON - 5559 DUNDAS STREET W (#A-DUND) Province: Canada : Ontario Position Type: Temporary Summary: The Shopper Marketing Specialist reports to the Manager, Shopper Marketing, and will have a particular focus on Metro Ontario\'s Digital Marketing channels. They will support the design and execution of Shopper Marketing Campaigns that are designed to build brand equity, drive traffic to store, increase customer engagement. They will also play a critical role in managing Metro\'s Category marketing strategy through creative and annualized marketing activations and strategy. They will work to ensure a seamless and fully integrated brand experience that is category specific across all marketing channels as part of the customer journey. Additionally, they will be responsible for weekly reporting, and creating and driving ROI across all channels by defining and reporting against performance metrics.
Specific Responsibilities:
Contribute to the planning, development and project management of digital-first, multi-faceted Shopper Marketing campaigns that support commercial business strategies, brand objectives, and tactical marketing plans
Responsible for managing shopper marketing content within Metro\'s larger Content Calendar, including all creative category specific assets
Manage end-to-end photography and videography process for digital vendor programs with lead agencies and/or influencers, including daily support and briefing of thematic photography/videography projects to ensure adherence to brand guidelines
Coordinate with Merchant teams and Marketing functional groups to manage Shopper Marketing Calendar of events
Point of contact to facilitate support to business partners inclusive of eCommerce and Loyalty
Support in the building of Marketing Plans, Category Plans and Post Mortem presentations
Budget Management: Track and consolidate period end budget and data reports; manage and process MPA\xe2\x80\x99s (Media Production Approvals), estimates, and invoices
Assist in development of Digital campaign creative briefs and paid media (digital) briefs for partner vendor programs to promote thematic event
Contribute to ongoing process improvement to achieve cost and process efficiency
Supports ad-hoc requests (presentations, projects, consultations) from Metro Ontario\'s Senior Management (Category Management and Operations teams)
Qualifications:
University degree or related education in marketing is preferred
2 - 3 years of Marketing experience & digital marketing
Grocery retail experience is an asset, as is experience in digital media
Proficient computer skills. (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills. (Verbal and Written)
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Creative problem-solving skills, with a drive to achieve results
