The Specialist, Performance, Accountability and Funding Allocation is the primary point of contact for managing Health Service Providers (HSPs) Accountability Agreements and Performance, works collaboratively with team members to advance strategic and operational plans and health system improvements, and develops and implements regional initiatives to promote high-quality client outcomes.
Here is what you will be doing:Performance Management: Support the development and implementation of performance management and improvement initiatives of Health Service Providers (HSPs) and the health system with a focus on the community sector. Accountability Agreement Monitoring: Lead the monitoring of HSPs Accountability Agreements, identifying and notifying management of imminent problems, issues, and potential risks and impacts. Data and Information Tracking: Maintains accurate and up to date HSP service and performance information. Assists in the development of OH performance reports by ensuring appropriate data analysis, data interpretation, and incorporating feedback from relevant stakeholders. Innovation and Quality Improvement: Contributes to the process that identifies, analyzes, and prioritizes opportunities to improve performance across the health care system in alignment with Ontario Health and the Ministry of Health priorities. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborates and works with internal and external local and provincial programs and networks as required to implement initiatives aimed at improving the health system and manage stakeholder relationships. Relationship Management: Actively participates in HSP engagement activities to maintain strong working relationships to support proactive/effective performance, issues management, and Accountability Agreement updates. Committee Participation: Participates in various committees and working groups related to local and provincial initiatives. Funding Management: Supports financial analysis associated with funding allocation and program implementation and monitoring. Knowledge Sharing: Builds OH's institutional knowledge in areas of specialization through writing briefing notes, preparing recommendations, and contributing to reports. Delivers presentations and transfers knowledge to others both within and external to OH. Performs other related duties as required.

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and ExperiencePost-Secondary education degree in an administration or a health-related field or equivalent experience in a health care environment
Knowledge and SkillsExperience in one or more of the following fields: health care planning, health care administration, and health care service delivery. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is an asset. Experience working with community health service providers is an asset Teamwork and collaboration Relationship development and management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Conflict resolution Professional behaviour Change management Operational ability Critical thinking and judgement
