Dream is looking for a Specialist, People & Talent (18-Month Contract) Dream\xe2\x80\x99s People + Culture Team is currently looking for a Specialist, People & Talent on a 18-month contract who will focus on full-cycle recruitment activities as well as work on various initiatives and projects with our P+C team. All this in a work environment that is fast-paced, dynamic and fun. What will you do? Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, assessing candidates, and ensuring the process and all communications are conducted in a positive way to provide excellent candidate experience;
  • You will represent and promote Dream by creating industry partnerships and being active in events and social media initiatives;
  • Oversee all the campus recruitment processes, through partnerships with Universities, Post-Secondary and Continuing Education Programs. Maintain a strong pipeline of junior talent through networking and assist with applying with grant programs.
  • Continually balance the priorities of multiple hiring managers/requisitions, with a great candidate experience always being your top priority;
  • Assist with People + Culture and Careers Inboxes and responding to employee and applicant inquiries in a timely manner;
  • Partner with people leaders and team members on full cycle recruitment and assist with managing and resolving people issues.
  • Assist P+C Managers and Advisors with day-to-day advice to various client groups regarding all HR related matters with varied complexity i.e Career Development, employee relations, learning and development, employee engagement etc.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment standards and legal requirements while mitigating and assessing potential risk.

  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or diploma preferably within Human Resources or a business related discipline;
  • 3+ years human resources experience within an agency setting or a corporate environment
  • Experience within the real estate industry and/or recruiting both in Canada and the US is an asset;
  • Experience with UKG HRIS system, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor are assets;
  • Flexible, well-organized, able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment;
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as to perform effectively in a team oriented environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills; and
  • Strong relationship building and customer service orientation skills.
  • Advanced excel skills.
