Short Description


This role is for someone who has a passion for marketing, who stays on top of consumer trends and is excited about tech. The Marketing Specialist, Brand, will have the opportunity to support The Source\xe2\x80\x99s brand transformation and bring marketing innovation to our customers. This includes project management of mass campaigns, brand initiatives and partnerships. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Brand Marketing, this role will work with cross-functional teams, key vendors and agency partners. They will collaborate with all business units to bring our brand campaigns to life and ensure brand consistency across channels. We are searching for a leader with strong project management skills, communications skills, and who is excited about tech and helping our customers discover the difference it will make for them.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the execution of mass campaigns, partnering with internal and agency partners to ensure consistency through paid and owned assets
  • Develop creative briefs that translate communications strategy into actionable execution
  • Work with creative and production teams to produce editorial and branded content
  • Stay current on content trends and best practices to ensure all content is aligned to industry best practices and customer expectations
  • Act as liaison with external agencies/freelancers, hosting status meetings, bringing internal/external partners together to ensure strong 360\xc2\xb0 execution of campaigns
  • Participate in marketing strategy, inputting value and ensuring execution of content aligns to business objectives
  • Monitor competitive activity, best practices and trends to continually innovate campaigns and support evolving objectives
  • Monitor brand and business KPIs. Evaluate campaign performance and leverage insights to optimize future campaigns, communicate results cross functionally and to senior leadership
  • Budget management of assigned projects / programs


Critical Qualifications


  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience managing campaigns requiring input from multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of the creative and production development process
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build and socialize plans with cross-functional audiences, including senior leadership
  • Detail oriented with a keen eye for ensuring creative output is on brand
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast pased environment
  • A passion for technology


Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and 3+ years experience in marketing
  • Previous experience leading and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Previous experience in retail and/or telecommunications

  • Travel to Barrie studio to supervise production of advertising and other content
