The temporary Specialist in Logistics Purchasing and Industrial Goods and Services will join the indirect purchasing team and provide support to the Logistics Purchasing Manager, working closely with Canadian and U.S. operations.

Salary scale 005: $82,600 to $103,200 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills.)
What this role involves:
Support project management within the indirect purchasing - logistics team
Collect and analyze data (purchases, suppliers, market, etc.)
Assist the Logistics Purchasing Manager in developing strategic sourcing plans, in collaboration with categories and Canadian and U.S. operations
Prioritize, lead, and implement sourcing strategies
Manage RFPs, select suppliers, negotiate, and draft contracts
Propose projects to the organization and influence internal clients toward the most beneficial solutions for the company, backed by complete case studies
Build strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Achieve cost reduction objectives
What you need to join our team:
Experience in logistics
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel (pivot tables)
Oral and written bilingualism (French and English) - frequent communication with partners, clients, and/or employees outside Quebec
