Worker Type: EmployeeGroup: Downstream Portfolio Management & Business Integration DepartmentJob Post End Date: 09/13/2024About this opportunity:The Specialist, Downstream Manufacturing Business Integration, reporting to the Director of Downstream Portfolio Management & Business Integration, is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams to integrate engagement models across operated and non-operated assets and corporate functions. This role supports the delivery of a unified Downstream management system, including business cycles, long-range planning, capital management, ESG frameworks, and performance improvements. It also involves process optimization, data stewardship, reporting, decision analysis, and strategic initiatives.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:Coordinate delivery of Cenovus\xe2\x80\x99 Downstream Manufacturing integrated business model across assets, commercial & corporate functions, featuring the annual, 5-year and long-range business planning for portfolio level capital and operating budgets, and reporting cycles that align with corporate cadence and requirements to elevate performance and profitability of Downstream assetsSupport the preparation and publishing of quarterly business plan and forecast updates and obtain necessary approvalsClosely support the economic evaluation of potential asset development options (including ESG) for the long-range planning process and business case evaluation and development for investment decisionsSupport and articulate Downstream asset level strategy and effective interactions between Downstream and Corporate Strategy teamsIdentify and lead continuous improvement and change management activities required to support transition to and sustainment of new processes in support of Downstream Manufacturing business process maturityBuild, steward and quality-control integrated views of portfolio profitability across the value chain, in coordination with Finance and Commercial, including Performance Management resultsSupport the Downstream Environment Social Governance (ESG) prioritization and advancement, in collaboration with asset, regional and corporate leadership, and SustainabilityMonitor, capture and share findings from portfolio-level Internal Audit engagementsWho you are:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, or related field; Master\xe2\x80\x99s is an assetMinimum 20 years of related experience with at least 10 years senior leadership responsibility, including elevated levels of delegated leadership authority and experience leading within an integrated downstream business environment.
