If you are someone who approaches work with passion, curiosity and the courage to innovate, then this role is for you We are looking for a Specialist, Reporting & Analytics - Finance Transformation to join us in the exciting work we do in Finance Transformation team. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Finance Transformation and is responsible to provide leadership and direction on the use of analytics, data visualization and storytelling transforming the way in which accounting and financial data can be presented and shared across the organization. Working collaboratively with Finance & Accounting and Information Technology groups this position will develop strategies and implement tools to translate raw data into valuable business insights.   • Understand the current technology capabilities that support analytics and automation.
  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop a vision for reporting and analytics within Finance & Accounting that will move the organization forward and fully use the available technology and capabilities of the organization.
  • Gain an understanding of our business, company culture and analytics capabilities.
  • Evaluate technology that supports reporting functions such as a data lake, data visualization, analytics and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Through collaboration with Information Technology and our Business Units develop a roadmap that ensures reporting automation that brings Finance & Accounting to best in class using existing tools.
Delivery
  • Lead, oversee and participate in the implementation of initiatives that support the strategy.
  • Develop and implement a plan to improve self-service capabilities for internal users and customers.
  • Work with multi-functional teams to understand the need for financial information.
  • Propose and implement improvements based on common practices and actively work with stakeholders to develop solutions that meet user needs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to build upon results to create deeper insights.
  • Assess requirements and plan a path forward to achieve the requirements, which may include changes to the method data is captured, or tools used.
  • Find opportunities for high-performance data visualizations, reports, dashboards, and provide ad hoc reporting and implement those tools.
  • Supervise status of initiatives and provide support when required.
  • Align with all Global IT standards, and co-ordinate use of tools, data processes, and patterns with Global IT Architecture and Cyber Security.
Knowledge Center
  • Continually learn the best-in-class processes and tools used for reporting.
  • Maintain a list of technology solutions and their application to business outcomes.
  • Maintain reporting procedures and provide required reports as needed, including researching and resolving issues.
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.
  • Keep abreast of industry news and trends.
Training & Mentorship
  • Deliver training on tools and reporting processes.
  • Mentor those across the organization on best practices for analytics, storytelling, and dashboards.
  • Build strong relationships based on trust and respect with all stakeholder groups.
  • Advise the organization of all trends and developments in the reporting and analytics area.
  • Lead and develop a culture of data analytics.
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor or diploma in Business, Computer Science, Data Management.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in data analytics and reporting in Finance & Accounting areas and working with accounting and finance data.
  • Proven knowledge of PowerBI and Oracle Cloud Solutions (or similar finance systems).
  • Implementation of scalable self-service data and reporting function.
  • Knowledge of Excel and familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, SAS).
  • Superb communication skills and a commitment to collaborating and providing a service and solutions to others within an organization.
  • Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skill.
